The front of this pillow is made from handwoven and hand-dyed tan-coloured mudcloth from Mali and vintage indigo from West Africa. These forms of textiles are handwoven; the cotton cloth is then sewn together in strips and dyed with fermented mud or indigo. No two pieces of mudcloth and indigo are exactly the same, which makes each piece unique! The backing is a natural-coloured cotton/poly twill and has an envelope enclosure.

PILLOW INSERT IS INCLUDED (fluffy, hypoallergenic, synthetic down alternative insert which has similar loft to down but is made with microfiber so doesn't have actual feathers potentially poking you). This means it will be ready to add colour to your home straight from the box!
